Chivas Red Carpet Display

The tasting table had to comply with strict airport guidelines using only Euro Class A2 compliant materials and was part of a range of items that were developed and produced for the Chivas Regal brand. We were briefed from a supplied loose concept visual which we had to translate into something that could be fabricated. We engineered this as a GRP moulded item, as this was intended to be part of a roll out programme. The complex shape leant itself to this production process due to the unusual geometry, and could be pre-coloured in the gel coat providing a durable finish. The table features halo lighting around the perimeter of the countertop and also around the base, with a small “hero” frosted plinth for the product. All of the lighting had to be compliant with regulations and had to be switchable and serviceable by a locked access door.
