Director / Design Engineer

Mark began his career taking a product design degree at Innovation, from there he spent over a decade as a model maker creating film sets, museum exhibitions, prototypes as well as many other items. Towards the end of his model making years, Mark transitioned into more of a designer role, honing his skills on AutoCAD and SolidWorks specifically designing interior patterns for the automotive industry.

Mark then moved into the retail design business spending 6 years as a senior designer at a POS consultancy. Mark’s latest job had him as the Senior Technical Retail designer at Dyson spending 3 years in this role. Today Mark forms part of the team bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the company.

When not finessing a surface model for Step2 Design Mark can be found in his workshop as a keen DIY enthusiast, and on those sunny days he’ll be out on his bike enjoying the fresh air.
