Tribex

Tribex was a project completed for a company who specialized in additive manufacture specifically for road bikes. My task was to design and prototype a downhill bike that could be used by someone with a disability to their lower body.

For this project we went through numerous CAD iterations and various physical prototypes, as part of a team who generated the final design I was mainly tasked with creating the 3D data and working out the mechanics behind the design. Tribex has a very unique way of steering in which the user must lean their whole body in order to turn the wheels, this different approach offered the user a truly immersive experience while still being in fully control and secure in the 3 wheeled design.
